Orwigsburg Heritage Day

September 12

10 am - 3 pm

 

Orwigsburg Heritage Day is a celebration of Orwigsburg's past, present and future! A family-friendly day filled with live music, food, vendors, kids' activities, car show, motorcycle show, horse and trolley rides and more! Be sure to stop by the Kimmels booth, enjoy some fresh popped corn, fun games, and our own bounce house! We enjoy serving our community and would enjoy the opportunity to meet you!

Halloween Parade

October 21st

If you joined us for Emerald Crossing Vacation Bible School this summer, we'd love to see you again! You're invited to walk with us in the Halloween Parade on October 21. Wear your VBS shirt, reconnect with friends, and help us share the wonderful news of Jesus, our Good Shepherd. More details will be available in the coming weeks.

 

Holly Trail

December 5th

The Holly Trail is an annual fundraiser held by the Orwigsburg Library and has long been a tradition to the start of the holiday season with a tour of area homes decorated for Christmas. Kimmels Church continues to be the official 'tea and cookies' stop on the trail. Always held on the first Saturday in December, we invite you to join us as we begin our celebration of the Chrismas season. You will experience the sights and sounds of Christmas as you enter our driveway and our carolers greet you at the front door. As you enter our sanctuary you'll see our beautiful Christmas tree and be amazed by all the whilte lights and greens. Plus be sure to take a few minutes to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and our wonderful homemade cookies. Table and seating areas will be available so sit down, relax and enjoy. 

 

Vacation Bible School

Kids PK - 6th grade

Thanks to all who attended our 2026 VBS week this July. We had a total of 167 kids registered this year - all had a great time discovering the wonder of Jesus, singing songs, making a great craft, playing fun games, exploring exciting science experiments, and most importantly, learning about who Jesus is. Our kids went on a wonderful journey to Emerald Crossing where every stop along their path they learned about the Good Shepherd and how he cares for his sheep. Mark your calendars now for next year's VBS: Spy U: Uncovering Counterfeits, Discovering the One True God on July 19-23 from 6-8:30.
