Children’s Church – Sunday 10:20 am

Our Children’s Church program takes place every Sunday using our Gospel Project curriculum. The Gospel Project is an ongoing look at the Bible and helps kids dive deep into the big story of the Bible … God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. Children's Church is offered for kids K through 5th grade. Kids join their families for the beginning of the Sunday Worship Service, and are then dismissed to their classroom just prior to the beginning of the sermon message.

Sunny Play Group & Sing-Along Classes

Summer Sessions Begin July 1st

Parents - join Happy Hearts early intervention speech therapist Kerry Herb as she engages in songs, fingerplays, books and more with your kids up to 1 year old to those entering pre-school.. Two summer classes are being offered - a playgroup class and a sing-along class. The play group class takes place July 8th, July 29th & August 12th from 10 am to 11:15 am. Child led play will be offered for children ages 12 months to preschool, along with story time. The sing-along classes takes place July 1, July 15, August 5th from 11 am to 11:45 am for kids 1 year old to 5 years old. - and offers engaging songs, finger plays, story books plus more. Child Evangelism Fellowship Good News Club

Child Evangelism Fellowship hosts a weekly Bible club for kids 5 thru 12, that meets in the fall and spring during the school year. The purpose of the ‘Good News Club ‘ is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus and disciple them in the Word of God. Kimmels Church is a proud sponsor of the Club that meets Wednesdays at the Blue Mountain Elementary East Building. The next class begin this fall - check back for details.

Family Fun Day

June 20 @ 11 am

Kimmels Church is hosting a family fun day on June 20th that will include games, food, our own bounce house, music, plus more. All will take place 'at the M&T Bank parking lot 'on the square' in downtown Orwigsburg from 11 am until 2 pm. The event will provide a sneak peek into our upcoming VBS ... Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23. Kids will also be able to register for this year's VBS. So mark your calendars now and plan to attend this fun family event!

Vacation Bible School 2026!

From the lush meadows of its countryside to the cobblestone streets of its cities, there is something to delight the senses everywhere we turn in Ireland. So kids ... journey with us to Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23. Every stop along our path will teach us about the Good Shepherd and how he cares for his sheep. Like David discovered throughout his life first as a shepherd and later as a king, we'll discover important truths about the God who created us and how He cares for us through the timely words of Psalm 23. Soccer Kids Event

August 4th & August 8th

For kids entering 1st grade through kids entering 7th grade!

CEF of Schuylkill County is hosting a fun and free soccer kids event where young players will enjoy skill-based drills, games, snacks, and prizes ... plus an Evangelistic Bible Message! So pick your date and get in the game:

Tuesday, August 4th - 6 pm to 8 pm at Blue Mountain High School

Saturday, August 8th - 9 am to 12 pm at Hegins-Hubley Elementary School
