Sunday Morning Nursery

10:00 am

Our nursery rooms are open for newborns up to 4 year olds during the 10:00 am service. Newborns up to two years of age (still crawling) get together in our smaller nursery room; and our two year olds who are walking up to 4 years of age get together in our larger nursery room. We encourage all parents to use the nursery on Sunday mornings. In order to provide better care for your child, we have compiled some guidelines which are available in our “New Life Nursery Policy Handbook”.

Sunny Play Group & Sing-Along Classes

Wednesdays @ 10:15 am

Parents - join Happy Hearts early intervention speech therapist Kerry Herb as she engages in songs, fingerplays, books and more with your kids up to 1 year old to those entering pre-school.. Two classes are being offered - a playgroup class and a sing-along class. The play group class takes place every other Wednesday through May 20th, from 10:15 am to 11:30 am. Child led play will be offered for children ages 12 months to preschool, along with story time. The sing-along classes begin on March 4th and takes place every other Wednesday through May 13th, for kids 1 year old to 3 years old. - and offers engaging songs, finger plays, story books plus more. Community Easter Egg Hunt

Palm Sunday

Every year, Kimmels Church hosts a Community Easter Egg Hunt always held on Palm Sunday. Join us next year for an afternoon filled with thousands of filled eggs, prizes and give-aways, music and fun, and smiles for everyone! We'll have three age-group hunts so every child has a great experience and leaves with candy - and something even sweeter: the good news of Jesus. Easter is more than eggs and prizes. It’s about celebrating the hope we have through Jesus’ death and resurrection — and the new life we can find in Him. This event is our way of loving and investing in our community while sharing the joy of Easter together. Check back next year for more informtion on our 2027 Egg Hunt!

VBS Family Fun Day

June 20 @ 11 am

Kimmels Church is hosting a family fun day on June 20th that will include games, food, our own bounce house, music, plus more. All will take place 'at the M&T Bank parking lot 'on the square' in downtown Orwigsburg from 11 am until 2 pm. The event will provide a sneak peek into our upcoming VBS ... Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23. Kids will also be able to register for this year's VBS. So mark your calendars now and plan to attend this fun family event!

Vacation Bible School 2026!

From the lush meadows of its countryside to the cobblestone streets of its cities, there is something to delight the senses everywhere we turn in Ireland. So kids ... journey with us to Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23. Every stop along our path will teach us about the Good Shepherd and how he cares for his sheep. Like David discovered throughout his life first as a shepherd and later as a king, we'll discover important truths about the God who created us and how He cares for us through the timely words of Psalm 23. Our VBS week takes place July 20-24 - please check back for more details and information on how to register your child!
