One of the greatest calls of every church is to proclaim the name of Christ to the world. Kimmels Church understands the importance of sharing the gospel and our faith with others.

We help our church family understand that sharing the Good News is more than just an activity that the church does as a whole. We encourage our people to be active in personally sharing their faith with those in their sphere of influence. We are to be living lives that bring people to the place where they ask what is different about us.

Vacation Bible School 2024

This past July Kimmels Church hosted a week-long VBS program, The Great Jungle Journey, for kids ages PK to those entering 6th grade. Thanks so much for allowing your kids to join us – we had a great time singing songs, making crafts, enjoying snacks, playing games, exploring exciting science experiments, and most importantly learning how to be part of God’s kingdom. Every day, our kids are bombarded with questions: Did God really create everything? Why do bad things happen? Was Noah’s ark real? Why do I need to be saved? Can I trust the Bible? During VBS Week, our kids explored the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids discoverde how these events shape our world, and they learned to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life. To take a look back at last year's VBS just click here.

We're already getting ready for VBS 2025! Kids, this July we're heading to 'Wonder Junction'! We'll look around the West and see so many things to wonder at - lovely landscapes, created critters, and intriguing inventions. But none of these can compare to the greatest wonder of all - our Savior Jesus Christ! At 'Wonder Junction' we'll learn there is no greater joy than to praise the name of the Lord all day long. Child Evangelism Fellowship Good News Club

Child Evangelism Fellowship hosts a weekly Bible club for kids 5 thru 12, that meets in the fall and spring during the school year. The purpose of the ‘Good News Club ‘ is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus and disciple them in the Word of God. Kimmels Church is a proud sponsor of the Club that meets Wednesdays at the Blue Mountain Elementary East Building, with classes running fall through spring.

Community Easter Egg Hunt

Kimmels Church hosts an annual Easter Egg Hunt on Palm Sunday each year. Open to the public, kids and their families are invited to celebrate the unforgettable message of God's love. All begins with a gathering for a devotional, music and great prizes, followed by our great 'hunt' that includes thousands of filled eggs! Our 2025 Easter Egg Hunt will take place on April 13th!

Operation Christmas Child

Kimmels Church partners with Samaritan's Purse every Christmas in an outreach program that collects filled shoe boxes of toys, school supplies, and other items. These gifts get distributed to needy children around the world, and include the gospel presentation in their own language.
