Jonathan Boudmer Joins Kimmels Church as

Associate Pastor of Family Ministry

Kimmels Church is thrilled to introduce to our community the newest addition to our ministry team – Jonathan Boudmer, our new Pastor of Family Ministry, along with his wonderful family: his wife Laura, and their four boys, Simeon, Philip, Edward, and George. While Jonathan’s position does not officially begin until August 1, he and his family with be participating in this year’s Wonder Junction VBS from July 21-25. Come on out and meet them.

After calling Clarence, New York home for the past 11 years, the Boudmers are excited to put down new roots here and become part of the Kimmel’s Church family and our greater Orwigsburg community.

Jonathan brings a wealth of ministry experience, having served as the Lead Pastor at Harris Hill Baptist Church (now Fieldstone Church) for seven years. Throughout their journey, Jonathan and Laura have grown deeply in their relationship with God, their marriage, their family, and their heart for church ministry.

Jonathan and Laura both met at Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, NY, 24 years ago—a story of faith and love that has continued to flourish. After completing their college and seminary degrees at Clarks Summit University, they have served God in various places, including Factoryville, PA, and Waterloo, IA. Their love for the Lord and for His Church shines brightly through their lives.

The Boudmer family enjoys the simple joys of life: outdoor adventures, summers at a family lake house in New Hampshire filled with fishing, swimming, boating, and family gatherings. The boys love sports, hunting, and fishing, while Laura’s heart for home, hospitality, crafting, and cooking brings a special warmth wherever they go. And for the sports fans out there—Jonathan is a proud New York Yankees fan who treasures yearly family trips to Yankee Stadium!

Jonathan also brings a heart for families of all abilities, having worked extensively with individuals with autism and special needs over the past 20 years. His leadership at Victory Learning Center in Western New York reflects his compassion, wisdom, and commitment to helping every individual reach their full potential.

Kimmel’s Church has been praying and seeking God’s direction, and the arrival of the Boudmer family is a beautiful answer to those prayers. As Pastor of Family Ministry, Jonathan will oversee the spiritual growth and discipleship of children from birth through young adulthood, equipping families to grow closer to God and closer to each other. His ministry will help lay a strong foundation for generations—because at Kimmels Church, we believe young people are not the future of the Church, they are the Church!

From the very first conversations with Jonathan and Laura, it was clear that God had prepared this match. Their passion for Christ, for families, and for the local church echoes our heart as a congregation. We cannot wait for you to meet them, share life together, and build lasting friendships as we follow Jesus side-by-side.
